The 54" Circle One Epoxy Fibreglass Skimboard is the biggest board in Circle One's epoxy range, built for riders up to 100kg. Its extra length and width give heavier or taller riders the flotation to get out to the shore break quickly, and the added surface area makes it a genuinely useful wakesurfing board too, not just a beach skimmer.
What makes it ride so well?
- Porcher 'E' fibreglass over 3k carbon fibre — a stiff, durable skin that shrugs off sand and shallow-water knocks without losing its snap.
- Hand-finished build — shaped by Jeff Townsley and finished individually rather than mass-produced, for a consistent strength-to-weight ratio.
- Round tail — a forgiving release shape that keeps the board predictable as you carve into an incoming wave.
- Big-board volume — the extra length gets you planing sooner, which matters most once you're carrying more weight.
- Crossover ready — enough glide for wakesurfing behind a boat and light-wind kitesurfing sessions, as well as classic sand skimming.
