Description

Recommended Water Temperatures: 0°C / 32°F+

Sizing Tip: Order your regular shoe size or half a size down. These boots expand slightly when heat-moulded. If your feet are narrow or low volume, consider sizing down further.

The Solite 8mm Custom Fire 2.0 is built for riders who refuse to compromise when conditions are at their coldest. Designed for extreme cold-water sessions, this is Solite’s warmest and most supportive boot, offering a precision fit, serious insulation, and excellent board feel for winter kitesurfing, wingfoiling, surfing, and windsurfing.

Who These Boots Are For

  • Cold and sub-zero water temperatures
  • Kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing, and cold-water surfing
  • Riders who want maximum warmth without losing control

Key Features & Real Benefits

3D-Moulded Natural Rubber Sole

The one-piece 3D-moulded sole wraps fully around the toes and heel, eliminating weak points and exposed seams. This improves durability, protects against rocks and reef, and maintains excellent board feel despite the thickness.

Custom-Fit 2.0 Thermofoam Sole with Round Toe

The heat-mouldable Thermofoam sole shapes to your foot for a locked-in, slop-free fit. The round toe design increases warmth, with 8mm insulation in the toes and heel and 7mm throughout the rest of the boot.

3-Point Strap with Floating D-Ring

Solite’s 3-Point Strap anchors under the arch and heel to pull the boot snugly into the foot when tightened. The floating D-ring self-aligns for even pressure, giving instant response and stability without pressure points.

Thermal Rebound Lining + Heat Booster Socks

Thermal Rebound lining reflects heat back toward the foot for noticeable warmth gains. The included 1mm Heat Booster Socks add an extra 5–10°F of warmth, improve comfort, make the boots easier to get on and off, and help keep them fresher between sessions.

Tatex Flex-Spine

The reinforced heel spine stiffens the rear of the boot for easy entry while gripping your wetsuit leg to reduce flushing. Internally, a plush quick-dry lining improves comfort and heat retention.

EZ-O Cuff with Overkill Seams

The EZ-O cuff creates a strong seal against flushing while staying easy to pull on and off. Reduced thickness under the wetsuit leg improves comfort, while triple-glued, blind-stitched, and externally sealed seams ensure long-term durability.

Reinforced Stealth Heel Loop

A low-profile heel loop is laminated directly into the structure of the boot, making entry easier without adding bulk or water absorption.

How They Feel On The Water

For an 8mm boot, the Custom Fire 2.0 feels impressively precise. Once heat-moulded, the fit is snug and responsive, with far less movement than traditional thick winter boots. Warmth is exceptional, making long winter sessions genuinely comfortable.

Fit & Setup Advice

  • Heat-mould before first use for best performance
  • Wear the included Heat Booster Socks during moulding
  • Ideal for riders who normally struggle to stay warm in winter
