The Core Roamer is CORE's dedicated wing foil board line, designed from the ground up for one purpose: making wing foiling feel as natural, intuitive, and rewarding as possible. From water starts to sustained flying, from choppy UK sea conditions to glassy inland water, the Roamer adapts to every rider and every environment with ease.
Available in five volumes from 55L to 130L, the Roamer caters to all rider weights and abilities. Even the smallest 55L delivers genuine stability at slow speed — meaning water starts are achievable much earlier in your learning journey than you'd expect from a low-volume board.
Key Design Features
Instant forward drive and stable feel
The carefully tuned shape ensures the easiest handling whatever the weather or water surface. Sporty and responsive, yet forgiving of the early complexities of learning, the Roamer strikes the ideal balance between progression and performance.
Early lift-off geometry
The double concave bottom shape ensures quick, clean take-offs and provides forgiving, predictable behaviour on touchdowns. High-volume concave rails release easily from the water surface and distribute water away from the centre of the board, giving you a confident, stable centre of gravity when powered up.
Optimised stance for control
An extra grippy deck pad maximises grip and stance power. The slightly angled deck and elevated front foot position optimise foot pressure influence, helping you get onto the foil faster and maintain flight more easily. The tail kick creates the perfect angle of attack for efficient pumping just before take-off.
Adjustable footstrap inserts
Two straight positions for your back foot and six offset angled positions for your front foot give you the flexibility to dial in exactly the stance geometry that works for your body and riding style — essential for progression from beginner to advanced.
Carbon sandwich construction
The stiff carbon sandwich construction provides a direct, responsive feel and long-lasting durability even for the most ambitious riders. An EPS core keeps weight down, while the robust carbon PVC shell protects against pressure points and prevents water ingress. Twin leash plugs are positioned to the side of the board to stop it bouncing back toward you after a fall.
