Description

The TAHE Borneo is a family-sized sit-on-top built to be paddled by one, two, or two adults plus a child — a genuinely flexible boat that's stayed popular for years because it works for almost any group.

One boat, several ways to paddle it

Sit centrally and it paddles comfortably solo; load it up with a partner and a child and the stable, efficient hull still tracks well — useful for anglers who want to fish alone but take the family out at weekends.

  • Solo or multi-person capacity — up to 250kg (550lbs), the only multi-person boat in the range that still paddles well solo from the centre seat
  • Integrated wheel transport system — built-in storage for the wheels when you're afloat, no separate trolley to carry
  • Recessed rear storage with bungee — secure gear without it snagging your stroke
  • Moulded bow and stern carry handles — easier to lift and load
  • Integral deck lines — solid grab points for re-boarding after a swim
  • TST thermoformed construction — durable, UV-treated polyethylene hull, made in France

Sizing

  • Capacity — 250kg / 550lbs
  • Seating — 1-2 adults, or 2 adults + 1 child

Who it's for

Families and small groups who want one kayak that covers solo fishing trips and weekend outings with the kids, without needing a second boat.

Rider verdict

Rare in the sit-on-top world for genuinely working as both a solo and multi-person boat — a sensible pick if your paddling group size changes from trip to trip.
