Description
The MBS All Terrain Longboard is a proper crossover cruiser for riders who want more freedom than a standard longboard can offer. With a low 39.3" maple drop deck, big 100mm all-terrain wheels and precise 190mm Navigator Drone trucks, it is built to roll smoothly across tarmac, gravel paths, park tracks and rougher everyday surfaces without feeling heavy or awkward underfoot.
This is not a full mountainboard with pneumatic tyres, and it is not a pure street longboard either. It sits in the middle as a fun, practical off-road longboard cruiser for riders who want easy carving, more comfort on broken ground and the option to keep riding when the smooth pavement ends.
Who It’s For
- Discipline: Off-road longboarding, all-terrain cruising, mixed-surface carving
- Level: Beginner to advanced
- Best for: Riders who want one board for pavements, paths, parks, compact gravel and light off-road terrain
Key Features
- 39.3" maple drop deck – Keeps your centre of gravity lower for easier pushing, more stability and better confidence on mixed surfaces.
- 100mm x 78A all-terrain wheels – Large, soft wheels help smooth out cracks, rough tarmac and compact gravel better than a typical longboard wheel.
- 190mm Navigator Drone trucks – Gives the board a precise, controlled carve with enough width to match the bigger wheel setup.
- Rubber shielded ABEC 9 bearings – Fast-rolling and better protected from dirt and grit than standard open bearings.
- Fully assembled complete – Ready to ride straight away with no extra setup required.
- Stiff deck feel – Delivers a direct, predictable ride that suits carving, cruising and firmer terrain.
Real-World Feel
The MBS All Terrain Longboard feels more planted and more capable than a normal longboard when the surface gets rough. On broken pavements, cycle paths, park tracks and compact gravel, the larger wheels take the sting out of chatter and help the board keep momentum where smaller wheels would get hung up.
Compared with a mountainboard, it feels lower, simpler and easier to push around town or along seafront paths. Compared with a standard cruiser or downhill longboard, it feels tougher, more versatile and much happier when your route is not perfectly smooth. The trade-off is that it is still best on hard-packed or moderate terrain rather than deep mud, soft sand or very rocky ground.
Setup / Fit
This board comes as a complete and suits riders who want a grab-and-go setup. The drop deck makes it approachable for newer riders, while the wide trucks and bigger wheels give it enough stability for faster cruising and confident carving. It is a great option for taller or adult riders who want a roomy, stable platform, but it is still manageable for newer riders because the low deck keeps pushing effort down.
If you are using it mainly for parks, promenades, hard dirt paths or compact gravel, the stock setup makes sense as is. If your riding is mainly steep hills or aggressive downhill, you would normally look at a more dedicated longboard setup. If your riding is mainly rough off-road fields or heavy landkite use, a full mountainboard would be the better tool.

Why We Stock It
We stock the MBS All Terrain Longboard because it offers something genuinely different from both standard longboards and full mountainboards. It is a fun, versatile board for riders who want to cruise further, shortcut across rougher ground and enjoy that old-school off-road skate feel without jumping straight to a bigger tyre-based setup.
For the right rider, it is one of those boards that gets used more than expected because it works in so many everyday places.
FAQs
Is this suitable for beginners?
Yes. The low drop-deck platform and stable setup make it beginner-friendly, especially for riders who want more comfort on rough surfaces than a normal longboard can offer.
Can it handle proper off-road terrain?
It can handle compact gravel, rough paths, grass shortcuts and mellow dirt tracks, but it is not designed for deep mud, very rocky terrain or aggressive downhill mountainboarding.
Is it good for commuting?
Yes, especially if your commute includes broken pavements, park sections or mixed surfaces where regular longboard wheels struggle.
What makes it different from a mountainboard?
This board is lower, simpler and easier to push, with urethane wheels instead of large pneumatic tyres. A mountainboard is better for rougher terrain and landkiting, while this is better for all-terrain cruising on firmer ground.
Does it come assembled?
Yes, it comes as a complete board ready to ride.
What should I look at if I want a full off-road setup?
You can browse our mountain boards collection or shop the wider MBS range if you want something built for rougher terrain or landkiting.
