Description

The Mystic Brand Fullsuit 3/2mm Back Zip Women 2026 is Mystic's entry-level women's summer wetsuit — a 3/2mm flatlock-seam fullsuit built for warmer-water sessions where you want flexible, fuss-free cover without spending a fortune. It's the suit we point new and returning riders towards for UK summer kitesurfing, wingfoiling and paddleboarding from late spring through to autumn.

It's made from Mystic's flexible M-Flex neoprene with a Wind Mesh chest panel to cut wind-chill, finished with flatlock stitching, a wide back-zip entry and a female-specific cut. As part of the Mystic range it sits at the affordable end of our women's wetsuits, making it an easy first suit or a sensible spare.

Who It's For

Discipline: kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing, SUP, surfing and general beach use.
Level: beginner to intermediate, or any rider after a budget-friendly summer suit.
Best for: warmer water — roughly UK late spring to early autumn, plus warm-water travel.

Key Features

  • M-Flex neoprene – soft, stretchy rubber that moves with you for unrestricted paddling and riding.
  • Wind Mesh chest panel – a denser, wind-blocking panel across the chest to hold off wind-chill when you're out of the water.
  • Flatlock seams – flat, comfortable, hard-wearing stitching that's ideal for summer temperatures.
  • Back-zip entry – a wide rear zip that makes getting in and out genuinely easy.
  • Glideskin double neck – a smooth-skin neck designed to limit flush and rubbing.
  • Hex-tech kneepads – flexible, abrasion-resistant kneepads for kneeling starts and board contact.
  • Non-slip cuffs & lining saver – cuffs that stay put, plus a velcro lining-saver tab to protect the neck lining.
  • Female-specific fit – cut for a woman's shape rather than a scaled-down men's pattern.

Real-World Feel

For the money, the Brand punches above its price. The M-Flex rubber is noticeably stretchy for an entry-level suit, so you're not fighting it on the beach or mid-session. Flatlock seams let a little water trickle through — that's normal at this level and exactly why it's a summer suit rather than a winter one — but once you're moving you warm that thin layer quickly, and the Wind Mesh chest takes the bite out of the breeze. The back-zip is the easiest entry to deal with on a cold car-park morning, and the female-specific cut sits closer through the body than the older unisex suits. It's an honest, no-drama suit.

Fit & Setup

A 3/2mm should fit snug with no loose pockets at the lower back, knees or armpits, but not so tight you can't breathe out fully. Open the back zip fully, step in, and work it up panel by panel with flat hands (not nails), then pull the zip up by the leash cord. Available in XS–XL; if you're between sizes we generally suggest the smaller for a summer suit so it doesn't flush. Message us your height and chest/waist and we'll talk you through it.

Materials

Body: Mystic M-Flex neoprene with a Wind Mesh chest panel and Glideskin double-neck construction. Seams: flatlock stitched. Entry: back-zip. Kneepads: Hex-tech. Colour: Black.

Pairs Well With

Finish the kit with a Dryrobe changing robe for warm, private beach changes, and make the suit last with our wetsuit care range.

Why We Stock It

We're a rider-owned shop on the Wirral and we ride the same cold Irish Sea you do, so we're fussy about what earns a place on the rack. The Brand makes the cut because it's the most affordable way into a properly-fitting summer suit without the corners feeling cut — and because when someone's just starting out, we'd rather sell them a suit that fits well and lasts than the cheapest thing going. Backed by honest advice from people who actually use this gear, fast UK delivery and easy size swaps.

FAQs

Is the Mystic Brand Fullsuit 3/2mm warm enough for a UK summer?
Yes — a 3/2mm is the standard choice for UK summer and warm spring or autumn days. For winter you'd want a 5/3mm or thicker, such as the Mystic Star or Gem.

What does "flatlock" mean, and is it as warm as GBS?
Flatlock is a flat, comfortable stitch used on summer suits; it lets slightly more water through than glued-and-blind-stitched (GBS) seams, which is fine in warm water but not ideal for cold. It also keeps the price down.

Does the Brand Fullsuit have a female-specific fit?
Yes — it's cut to a woman's shape rather than a downsized men's pattern, and the wide back-zip makes entry easy.

What size Mystic Brand Fullsuit should I buy?
It runs XS–XL. A summer suit should be snug to limit flushing, so if you're between sizes we usually suggest the smaller — message us your height and chest/waist for a hand.

Can I use it for kitesurfing and wingfoiling, not just surfing?
Absolutely — it's a versatile summer suit suited to kitesurfing, wingfoiling, windsurfing, SUP and surfing.
