Description

The Sabfoil Balz Pro 808 Foil Set is Balz Müller's signature freestyle front wing, paired with a 663mm fuselage and 370cm² flat stabiliser, available as a glider (no mast) or a complete kit with the Kraken 83cm mast, mast bag and titanium Quick Release System. It sits in the middle of the Balz Pro set line, built for the best control and power in medium-high wind conditions.

The Balz Pro design increases surface area at the centre for smooth low-speed take-offs and refines the dihedral angle for responsiveness through consecutive jumps, catching landings with a strong rebound. As part of Sabfoil's foil kit range, it's engineered for explosive acceleration and high top speeds.

Who It's For

  • Discipline: Freestyle Pro, freestyle, freeride, wave and fast freeride
  • Level: Intermediate to advanced riders
  • Best for: Riders wanting explosive pop and precision in medium-high wind conditions

Key Features

  • Take-off speed 13–15 knots – built for medium-high wind sessions
  • Top-end speed 28–30 knots (average 80kg rider)
  • 808 front wing, 663mm fuselage, 370cm² flat stabiliser – matched for control and power in medium-high conditions
  • Tip twist – guarantees stability through high-speed carving and consecutive jumps
  • Kit includes Kraken 83cm mast, bag and titanium Quick Release System (Q02K)

Real-World Feel

The 808 sits between the bigger 909 and the smaller 707, giving strong pop and explosive acceleration once you're into medium-high wind. It's still built with the same low-speed take-off help and refined dihedral as the rest of the Balz Pro line, so it doesn't feel like it suddenly needs maximum power to perform — but it's happiest once wind strength picks up beyond what the 909 is built for.

Setup / Fit

The complete kit includes the Kraken 83cm mast, bag and titanium Quick Release System — ready to assemble as a full setup. The glider option (no mast) suits riders who already own a compatible Kraken mast.

Materials

  • Construction: carbon, Balz Müller signature freestyle shape
  • Fuselage: 663mm
  • Stabiliser: 370cm², flat profile
  • Kit mast: Kraken 83cm

Size Chart

Configuration Price
Glider (no mast) £719
Full kit + 83 mast, bag, Q02K £1,529

Pairs Well With

If you choose the glider option, you'll need a compatible Kraken mast to complete the setup.

Why We Stock It

We stock the Balz Pro 808 as the middle size in the signature line, giving riders a genuine medium-high wind option without jumping straight to the smallest, most powered-up 707.
