Description
The Sabfoil Medusa Pro Front Wing is a T8 Pro Finish carbon hydrofoil wing built for power freestyle, freeride and kitefoiling, available in 669, 769 and 869cm². It's built for speed, power and precision — the wing Sabfoil recommends when pop and explosive freestyle response matter more than pure glide.
Every Medusa Pro wing uses super-strong T8 carbon finished in SAB's Pro Finish: hand-sanded to a matte surface with 0-thickness graphics, made in Italy. As part of the Sabfoil front wing range, it uses the T8 wing-to-fuselage connection standard, so it pairs with any compatible T8 fuselage, mast and stabiliser.
Who It's For
- Discipline: Power freestyle, freeride and kitefoiling
- Level: Intermediate to advanced riders who want pop and explosive response
- Best for: Riders prioritising speed and precision over maximum low-end glide
Key Features
- T8 super-strong carbon – built for durability under hard freestyle loading
- SAB Pro Finish – hand-sanded matte surface with 0-thickness graphics, made in Italy
- 669cm² (smallest) – fastest option, for power freestyle in strong to very strong wind (40+ knots)
- 769cm², AR 8.4 – explosive pop with efficient speed for medium-high wind
- 869cm², AR 8.8 – early take-off and glide for medium-low wind, still poppy and precise
Real-World Feel
The Medusa Pro is built to reward an aggressive riding style — pop is immediate and the wing releases cleanly out of tricks rather than hanging on and fighting your landing. The 669 is genuinely a strong-wind specialist, staying composed and fast when a bigger wing would feel overpowered; the 869 trades a little of that snap for easier take-offs when the wind drops, without losing the family's characteristic precision. None of the three sizes are designed to be forgiving glide wings — they're built for riders who want to move the foil deliberately through freestyle manoeuvres.
Setup / Fit
Mount to a compatible T8 fuselage, mast and stabiliser using the Sabfoil T8 connection standard. Choose 669 for strong wind and maximum speed, 769 for an all-round freestyle size, or 869 if you want easier early take-off without sacrificing pop. Speak to the team if you need help matching a full T8 setup.

Pairs Well With
You'll need a compatible T8 fuselage, mast and stabiliser to complete your hydrofoil.
Why We Stock It
We stock the Medusa Pro because it's a genuinely honest freestyle wing — it doesn't try to be an all-rounder, it does one job (pop and precision) very well. For riders who've moved past a beginner glide wing and want a foil that responds instantly to aggressive input, it's one of the sharpest tools in the Sabfoil range.
