Description
The Sabfoil Razor Pro Front Wing is a T6 Pro Finish carbon hydrofoil wing built for steep-wave surf and fast downwind riding, available in six sizes from 675 to 1075cm². It's the steep-wave version of Sabfoil's Razor line, designed to maximise wave performance while still riding fast downwind between swells.
Every Razor Pro wing uses surf-born T6 carbon finished in SAB's Pro Finish: hand-sanded to a matte surface with 0-thickness graphics, made in Italy. As part of the Sabfoil front wing range, it uses the T6 wing-to-fuselage connection standard, pairing with any compatible T6 fuselage, mast and stabiliser.
Who It's For
- Discipline: Prone/surf foiling and downwind riding, with steep-wave performance as the priority
- Level: Intermediate to advanced surf foilers
- Best for: Riders who want a wing that handles steep, critical waves rather than one built purely for glide efficiency
Key Features
- T6 surf-born carbon – built specifically around steep-wave loading rather than adapted from a downwind shape
- SAB Pro Finish – hand-sanded matte surface with 0-thickness graphics, made in Italy
- 675cm², AR 8.4 – the smallest and fastest, for steep waves and strong wind
- 775cm², AR 9.6 – fast and efficient with early take-off for its size
- 825cm², AR 8.8 – versatile mid-size for surf, downwind and moderate wind
- 875cm², AR 9.2 – early lift for smaller waves and lighter wind
- 975cm², AR 10.2 – the highest-aspect size, for early take-off and glide in light wind
- 1075cm² – the biggest Razor Pro, maximum low-end lift and the earliest take-off
Real-World Feel
The Razor Pro's surf pedigree shows in how it handles steep drops and tight pockets — it holds a line through critical sections rather than washing out, which is the whole point of a wave-specific shape over a general downwind wing. Smaller sizes (675–775) feel fast and locked-in on steeper waves and in stronger wind; the bigger sizes (975–1075) trade some of that snap for easier take-offs and more forgiving glide when the swell or wind drops. It's not the most efficient wing for flat-water downwind cruising — that's what the Leviathan range is for — but for genuine wave riding it's built with the right priorities.
Setup / Fit
Mount to a compatible T6 fuselage, mast and stabiliser using the Sabfoil T6 connection standard. Choose a smaller size (675–775) for steeper waves and stronger wind, or a larger size (975–1075) for smaller waves, lighter wind and easier take-offs.
Materials
- Construction: T6 surf-born carbon

Pairs Well With
You'll need a compatible T6 fuselage, mast and stabiliser to complete your hydrofoil.
Why We Stock It
We stock the Razor Pro because it's built by surfers for surf foiling first, not repurposed from a downwind or wing-foil shape. For riders serious about prone foiling steep waves rather than just cruising flat water, that difference in design priority shows up on the water.
FAQs
What is the Sabfoil Razor Pro Front Wing?
The Sabfoil Razor Pro Front Wing is a T6 Pro Finish carbon hydrofoil wing built for steep-wave surf and downwind foiling, available in six sizes from 675 to 1075cm².
What size Razor Pro should I buy?
Smaller sizes (675–775) suit steeper waves and stronger wind; larger sizes (975–1075) suit smaller waves, lighter wind and easier take-offs.
Is the Razor Pro good for downwind foiling?
It rides well downwind, but it's specifically built for steep-wave surf performance rather than pure downwind efficiency — riders wanting maximum flat-water glide should look at the Leviathan range instead.
What is the difference between T6 and T8 Sabfoil wings?
T6 and T8 refer to Sabfoil's two fuselage connection standards, based on root chord and screw size (M6 vs M8) — you need a matching fuselage, mast and stabiliser for whichever standard your front wing uses.
What is SAB Pro Finish?
Pro Finish is Sabfoil's hand-sanded matte surface treatment with 0-thickness graphics, made in Italy, used across their premium T6/T8 wing range.
