As a BKSA and RYA Senior Instructor, as well as a BKSA Kitesurf and Wingfoil Examiner, Adam brings a wealth of expertise to the industry.
Currently riding Core and Lieuwe which has pushed his riding to the next level.
MICHAELA MCCANN
A true water lover, always chasing the wind and never missing a session. When it’s blowing, you’ll find her on the water from the first gust to the very last, squeezing every moment out of the day. She’s all about the stoke, bringing good vibes wherever she goes—on the beach or in the waves.
Riding a mix of Eleveight and Ozone kites, paired with her Lieuwe Falcon, She’s constantly pushing her limits and inspiring everyone around her to do the same.
She’s also the driving force behind the Girls’ kiting group in the North West, creating a supportive community that’s encouraged more women to get into the sport. Michaela isn’t just a rider; she’s the heart of the scene and a true ambassador for the kiteboarding and wingfiling lifestyle.
HARVEY THOMPSON
Harvey is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to pumpfoiling and wingfoiling. Whether he’s gliding across the water or catching waves on the foil, he’s constantly pushing the limits of what’s possible. His passion is contagious, and his smooth, stylish rides always turn heads.
Since joining the team, Harvey has been ripping it up with VAYU wings and has recently taken up para winging on the ENSIS Rodger—showing his skills for taking on any challenge and making it look easy.
Always stoked and constantly progressing, Harvey’s the guy who motivates everyone to stay out longer and ride harder. If there’s a chance to catch a session, you’ll find him out there leading the charge and showing us all what’s next in the world of foiling.

Gvidas has been proudly representing Eleveight with Northern Watersports for years, and he’s become a key part of the crew. Known for his dedication to pushing the limits on the water, Gvidas brings style, power, and progression to every session. Whether he’s boosting huge airs or laying down buttery smooth tricks, his riding always stands out.
But Gvidas doesn’t just ride—he creates. From jaw-dropping clips to stunning photos, he’s constantly delivering top-tier content that showcases the beauty and intensity of the sport. His passion for kiteboarding shines through everything he does, inspiring others to get out there and send it.

Meet Julia, the creative force behind our digital presence and the one spreading the stoke far and wide. As our Digital Marketing Manager, she’s the reason you see all the epic content, updates, and inspiration coming your way. From jaw-dropping photos to engaging stories and creative campaigns, Julia keeps the vibe alive and connects us with our amazing community.
When she’s not behind the screen, Julia’s out living the board life. A passionate surfer and skater, she’s also the founder of The Board Girls Club, a vibrant group of ladies who share a love for surfing, skating, and the stoke that comes with it. Through Board Women, Julia’s been building a rad community that empowers women to embrace their passion for boardsports.
And while she’s already ruling the waves and pavement, we’ve got our sights set on converting her to the windy side—kitesurfing is definitely next on the list. Julia’s creativity, energy, and passion for the outdoors make her an irreplaceable part of the team and an inspiration to all!
ADRIAN PATTINSON
Adrian is a true veteran of the sport, having been riding Core kites for over a decade. With more than 15 years of experience under his belt, he knows these kitesurfing inside and out.
As one of our senior instructors at Northern Kites, Adrian brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. Whether he’s coaching beginners through their first rides or helping advanced kiters perfect their technique, his calm, encouraging approach and deep understanding of the sport make him an invaluable part of our crew.
Adrian isn’t just a rider; he’s a mentor and a leader who’s helped countless students discover their passion for kiteboarding. On and off the water, he’s always pushing to share the stoke and keep the Northern Watersports community growing.
