Who's it for?
Anyone who wants the thrill of kitesurfing with as little complication and as much progression as possible. The Reflex is built tough for heavy use and suits everyone from complete beginners through to advanced riders. The primary design focus is twin-tip big-air performance, but the Reflex's tighter turns and softer feel also make it an excellent cross-discipline kite for wave and foil sessions.
Range of use
- Freeride 10/10
- Freestyle 10/10
- Big Air 8/10
- Light Wind 7/10
- Hydrofoil 7/10
- Wave 5/10
Reflex vs Vortex
| Reflex | Vortex | |
|---|---|---|
| Airframe | 3-strut Dacron — more hard-wearing with a softer, more accessible ride feel | 3-strut Aluula — stiffer, sharper, constantly switched-on feel |
| Aspect ratio | Lower aspect ratio for more low-end power (still a relatively high-aspect design) | Higher aspect ratio for faster forward flight and more top-end performance |
| Turning | More material twist under load — turns more tightly through a loop with less power | Ultra-stiff frame — more drive and pull through a slightly wider loop; extreme stability across the full wind range |
| Ideal for | Beginner to Advanced | Intermediate to Pro |
