Description
The Surflogic Wetsuit Dry Bucket is the 50-litre waterproof TPU bucket that solves a problem every regular rider knows well: getting your wet kit home without soaking the car boot. Stand it upright at the carpark, stuff in your wetsuit, towel, boots and accessories, secure the adjustable strap — and drive home without a drip. Browse the full Surflogic range or explore our wetsuits and neoprene care section.
What sets this apart from a standard bag is the rigid self-supporting shape. It stands on its own at the beach or van side, making changing next to the boot far more manageable, and it doubles as a platform to stand in when peeling off your wetsuit. The internal mesh zip pocket keeps phone, keys and cards dry and accessible, and the whole thing folds flat when you're done. Available in five colours: Black, Green, Blue, Pink and Grey.

Real-World Feel
The self-supporting shape is the feature you appreciate most at the beach. Rather than a floppy bag that collapses when you try to stuff a wet suit in, this bucket stays steady on the ground. Many riders use it as a changing platform — stepping inside while peeling off keeps feet clean and dry off the tarmac. The TPU construction is more robust than standard PVC; it doesn't crinkle or crack in cold conditions. The internal mesh pocket is genuinely useful — small and secure without making you dig through a wet wetsuit to find your keys.
Setup & Use
No setup required. Open, load, secure the strap with the buckle, carry. To use as a changing platform, set the bucket on the ground, step inside one foot at a time and peel off your wetsuit. Load the wet suit, clip the strap, and place in your boot. Folds flat by pushing the base up into the bucket body — stores in roughly a third of its open height.
Materials
- Shell: TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) — waterproof, durable, cold-resistant

Why We Stock It
A wet wetsuit weighs several kilograms, drips constantly, and needs to go somewhere that isn't your car carpet. The 50L Dry Bucket is the right size for the job, stands on its own, doesn't leak, and folds away small when you're done. We stock it because it's the post-session gear that actually gets used every single time. See the full Surflogic accessories range or read our kit care guides for more.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it big enough for a full winter wetsuit with boots and gloves?
Yes — at 50L (40 × 30 × 45 cm) it handles a full 5/3mm wetsuit, 5mm boots, 3mm gloves and a hood with room for a towel. Significantly larger than a standard 25L dry bag and designed for a full changing-and-loading scenario at the carpark.
Is it completely waterproof?
The TPU shell with HF welded seams is 100% waterproof. It's an open-top bucket design — it's built to contain wet kit reliably, not to be submerged. Once you engage the buckle strap the contents are well secured; it keeps water in far better than a standard bag with stitched seams.
Can I stand in it to change out of my wetsuit?
Yes — this is a common use. The self-supporting shape stands steady on the ground and the base is wide enough to step into one foot at a time while peeling off your wetsuit. It keeps your feet off the tarmac and catches dripping water while you change.
Does it really fold flat?
Yes — push the base up into the bucket body and it collapses to roughly a third of its open height. Stores flat in the van, boot space or kit bag without taking up meaningful room.
Which colour is most practical?
Black and Grey hide salt residue and general wear better over time. Bright colours (Pink, Green, Blue) are easier to spot at a busy beach or in the back of a dark van. All colours are identical in construction and waterproofing.
How do I clean it?
Rinse inside and out with fresh water after each saltwater session. TPU doesn't absorb odours the way fabric does, but a monthly rinse with diluted antibacterial spray inside keeps it fresh through a full season. Leave open to air dry after rinsing.
