Description

Naish's 2026 Siren Semi-Complete is a mid-aspect hydrofoil package built around control, early lift and confidence across disciplines. Where the Excalibur chases speed and glide, the Siren prioritises manoeuvrability and stability — the foil Naish designed when they wanted something versatile enough for waves, freestyle and learning without sacrificing efficiency. Available in 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 cm² front wing sizes.

The Siren's medium-aspect outline (8.2–8.5 AR), high-camber foil section and pronounced leading-edge sweep give it a forgiving and predictable character that builds rider confidence quickly. Built with the same Alpha connection system as the Excalibur, it's a thoroughly modern design in a more approachable package. Suited to wing foiling, kite foiling, SUP foiling and surf foiling.

Who It's For

The Siren covers a broad ability range — from intermediate riders still developing foiling technique through to experienced riders who need a dependable wave and freestyle option. Smaller sizes (600 and 800 cm²) suit riders pushing limits in surf and freestyle, where the sweep and AR provide precise, reactive feedback. The 1000 and 1200 cm² are stability and early-lift focused — ideal for riders building towards consistent independent foiling or looking for a light-wind solution. If you want a foil that handles critical moments without biting back, the Siren is the choice.

Key Features

  • 8.2–8.5 AR mid-aspect outline — generates early lift and strong turning response without the sensitivity of a high-aspect design
  • High-camber foil section — lowers stall speed and builds in forgiveness, making corrections easier and recovery from touchdowns more natural
  • Leading-edge sweep — adds directional stability and control in critical moments — waves, gusts, confined spaces
  • Alpha connection system — 30% stiffer than the Legacy system via M8 bolt interface, removing the flex that obscures feedback
  • Alpha aluminium fuselage — Mini-Tuttle mast connection, compatible with Naish S27, 2024, 2025 and 2026 masts
  • S-Series stabiliser included — matched to the Siren's surf-oriented character; swap to E-Series (sold separately) for more efficiency and glide
  • Four sizes from 600–1200 cm² — covers light-wind learners through to advanced riders in waves and freestyle

Real-World Feel

The Siren pops up early and sits in a stable, predictable pitch range once flying — it doesn't demand the active trim that high-aspect foils require. It turns freely and responds to weight shifts cleanly. In surf, the leading-edge sweep gives it hold on the face without feeling skatey. In gusty UK conditions — where you're constantly adjusting to shifts and lulls — the Siren's stability margin means you spend more time flying and less time recovering from over-reactions. The bigger sizes are forgiving enough to recommend as second foils for riders stepping off learning packages, while the smaller sizes satisfy experienced riders who want something reactive but controlled.

Setup and Fit

The Alpha Alu fuselage connects to the mast via Mini-Tuttle, compatible with Naish S27, 2024, 2025 and 2026 masts. Front wing attaches to the fuselage via the Alpha connection: two or three M8 bolts depending on size. Note that a mast is not included in the semi-complete package — contact us to add a compatible Naish mast at the time of ordering if needed. Board sold separately.

Materials and Construction

The Siren front wing uses high-modulus carbon construction throughout for low weight and high stiffness. The Alpha Alu fuselage is aircraft-grade aluminium. The S-Series stabiliser is composite construction. All hardware is stainless steel.

Size Guide

Size (cm²) Wingspan AR Best For
600 ~71 cm ~8.2 Advanced riders in surf and freestyle; lighter riders wanting reactive response
800 ~82 cm ~8.3 Intermediate-advanced; versatile wing foiling, waves and dynamic riding
1000 ~90 cm ~8.4 Most popular all-rounder — broad rider weight and wind range
1200 ~100 cm ~8.5 Lighter winds, heavier riders, confident beginners building independence

Rough guide: riders up to 75 kg with moderate foiling experience typically start on the 800 or 1000. Riders over 85 kg or in lighter wind conditions often prefer the 1000 or 1200. We're happy to advise — call or message us before ordering.

Pairs Well With

The Siren package works with all current Naish foil boards. For a complete wing foiling setup, browse our wing foiling collection. Need a mast to complete the package? Ask us about compatible Naish masts when ordering. Find carry bags, mast extensions and tools in our wingfoiling accessories section.

Why We Stock It

The Siren fills the gap between beginner packages and the performance-focused Excalibur — and that's exactly the gap where most of our customers live. It's the foil we'd recommend for anyone who wants to progress without the anxiety of a twitchy high-aspect design, and it handles UK conditions — often messy, gusty and unpredictable — better than most. We stock the full four-size run so we can match you to the right foil rather than the nearest available option.

FAQs

What does the Naish Siren Semi-Complete package include?

The semi-complete includes the Siren MA front wing (in your chosen size), Alpha aluminium fuselage, S-Series stabiliser and hardware. A mast and board are not included in the standard package — contact us to add a compatible Naish mast when ordering.

What's the difference between the Naish Siren and the Excalibur?

The Siren is mid-aspect (AR ~8.2–8.5) and prioritises stability, early lift and manoeuvrability — better for waves, freestyle and riders still developing. The Excalibur is high-aspect (AR ~10.2) and focuses on speed, glide and pump efficiency. The Siren is the more forgiving, versatile everyday foil; the Excalibur rewards technical skill with better performance at the top end.

Is the Siren suitable for beginners?

The 1000 and 1200 cm² sizes are accessible to riders who have had their first foiling sessions and are building independence. The 600 and 800 suit more experienced riders. If you're completely new to foiling, we'd suggest a package deal that includes a suitable board — message us for options.

Can I use my existing Naish mast with the 2026 Siren?

Yes — the Alpha fuselage uses the existing Mini-Tuttle mast connection, so it is compatible with Naish S27, 2024 and 2025 masts. The Alpha front-wing-to-fuselage connection is new for 2026 and replaces the Legacy system.

Which stabiliser suits the Siren — S-Series or E-Series?

The S-Series (included) is matched to the Siren's surf and freestyle character — more pivot, more manoeuvrability. The E-Series (sold separately) adds efficiency and glide, making it a better choice for longer downwind runs or riders who prioritise smooth flying over turning performance.

Does the Siren work for kite foiling and SUP foiling as well as wing foiling?

Yes — the Siren's mid-aspect design and early lift work well in kite foiling too, particularly the smaller sizes for more aggressive riding. The 1000 and 1200 are also popular for SUP foiling where early lift matters more than top-end speed.
