Description
The Circle One 6'6" Nipper Board is a fast, stable surf lifesaving board built for junior competition and training. Aimed mainly at 7 to 11 year olds, it's designed to meet Australian Surf Lifesaving Association specifications so it's ready for club use straight out of the bag.
Why is it stable for younger riders?
- 18 3/4" wide, rounder template — rides waves better and holds a steadier line than narrower nipper boards
- EPS hi-density pressurised core — light enough to paddle hard, strong enough for club training
- Full HDPE soft slick bottom — added rider safety if boards collide in a pack start
- Carry handles — easier for younger riders to manage on the beach
How is it built to last?
- Crosslink material with multi-layer 6oz European fibreglass — durable layup for repeated competition use
- Hi-density internal EVA rail, nose and tail reinforcement — protects the areas that take the most knocks
- Premium European epoxy resin — quality finish throughout
- Unidirectional full-length wood stringer — strength with controlled flex
- Durable IXPE deck skin — grippy, hard-wearing deck surface
- Hand finished to C1 standards — checked for an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio
Sizing
This is the 6'6" (2 metre) nipper board — Circle One's size built for the 7 to 11 age group. No other lengths are listed for this model.
What's in the box?
One Circle One 6'6" Nipper Board, supplied complete with a composite single fin.
Who's it for?
Junior surf lifesavers aged roughly 7 to 11 training or competing in nipper board events, and clubs needing ASLA-spec boards for their nipper squad.
Rider verdict
A genuinely stable board for younger paddlers — the wider, rounder outline forgives a shaky start and the fin is included, so it's ready to paddle straight away.
