Description
The R1 V5 is Ozone's elite closed-cell hydrofoil race kite, the product of a four-year development cycle and over 50 prototypes, built purely for top-level competition. It targets advanced racers with prior high-performance foil experience, prioritising maximum speed at aggressive angles and minimal momentum loss through tacks and gybes. Key tech includes a low-drag 2-line bridle (10m and up), lightweight fibreglass battens, Rigifoil leading-edge reinforcement, Triple Transverse Sail Shaping and ultra-light 20D/10D canopy materials. Supplied in Ozone's custom race colours.
