Description

The 2026 Reedin Feather has one job: make foiling as easy and fun as possible. New longer, narrower shapes across the range produce better glide for earlier take-offs while staying stable and forgiving on the water. Every size has its own dedicated shape tuned to how it's most often ridden — from the 20L kite/pump/dock-start specialist through the 45–88L progression and freeride range to the 102L high-volume learner and the 60 FS surf/prone crossover (pre-order). XPS core throughout (except the 60 FS), deck pad fitted, Futures double 90mm foil track. From £1,349.

Who It's For

Wingfoilers at every level. The 20L is for riders already foiling confidently who want a compact crossover between wingfoil, kite foil, dock-start and pump; the 45L suits lighter and progressing riders wanting more performance; 65–75L cover the largest group — riders who are water-starting reliably and want an all-round freeride board; 88L suits progressing riders over 80 kg and those who want an extra safety margin on take-off; 102L is the high-volume choice for beginners and heavier riders who want the easiest possible first flights; and the 60 FS (pre-order) is for surf and prone foil sessions where a slimmer, surf-influenced outline is the priority. Message us with your weight, foil and conditions and we'll tell you exactly which Feather to buy.

Key Features

  • Seven sizes: 20, 45, 65, 75, 88, 102L and 60 FS — a dedicated shape for every rider level and discipline
  • New longer, narrower 2026 shapes — less water displacement means faster acceleration and earlier take-offs without sacrificing stability
  • Rebalanced foil position — keeps rider weight centred despite the added length; eliminates swing-weight during gybes and tacks
  • Tuned rocker — forgiving on downwind touchdowns and in chop; doesn't pearl or slam
  • Tough XPS core (20–102L) — dense, waterproof closed-cell foam; resists dings and moisture ingress better than standard EPS
  • Deck pad pre-fitted — ready to ride out of the box
  • Futures double 90mm foil track — industry-standard track spacing; all common foil boxes compatible
  • 20L crossover — kite, dock-start, pump and wake foiling; the most versatile compact board in the Feather range
  • 60 FS (pre-order) — surf/prone outline; different shape to the standard Feather; ideal for surf transitions and prone foil crossover

Real-World Feel

The 2026 Feather is noticeably different from the outgoing shape on the water. The narrower outline means less drag at speed but more commitment on take-off — instead of sitting wide and stable at low speed, the board wants to go somewhere. Once you've got the technique to use that (and it doesn't take long), the earlier take-offs and cleaner carry speed pay back. On the 75L and below, the Feather feels fast and responsive for its category. On the 102L it's still notably more nimble than a conventional high-volume board. The 20L is in a different category entirely — it's about as compact as a wingfoil board gets while remaining usable for water-starts, and it crosses over with kitesurfing and pump foiling in a way the larger sizes don't.

Setup and Fit

Futures double 90mm foil track is compatible with all common foil boxes and plate systems. Deck pad is pre-fitted so you're ready to ride out of the box. Check your foil's top plate footprint against the Futures track before ordering to confirm compatibility — contact us if you're unsure. Fins not included (and not required for foiling, though some riders add a small centre fin for handling on the water pre-flight).

Materials

  • Core (20–102L): Tough, waterproof XPS closed-cell foam
  • Construction: Carbon and glass fibre composite laminate
  • Deck pad: Pre-fitted, full-length EVA
  • Foil track: Futures double 90mm
  • 60 FS: Surf/prone shape — construction details to be confirmed at delivery

Pairs Well With

Why We Stock It

We stock the 2026 Feather because it's the board we recommend when customers ask what to buy for their first foiling sessions — and when they ask what to upgrade to once they've outgrown a larger beginner board. The longer, narrower 2026 shapes are a genuine improvement: earlier take-offs, cleaner carry speed, and a board that feels active rather than just big. We use the Feather range ourselves at West Kirby Marine Lake for dock-start practice and at Wallasey for wing sessions in moderate wind. If you're buying your first foil board, or replacing an older shape, the Feather is where to start the conversation.
