Description

The Reedin FlightAttendant Stabilizer tunes the pitch character of your FlightAttendant foil. Three sizes — 198, 227 and 271 cm² — span from responsive and surfy (198) through the balanced all-round choice (227) to maximum stability and lift (271). Oval mounting holes give ±0.5° trim without shims. From £169.

Who It's For

Riders running any FlightAttendant front wing who want to dial in pitch stability, turning responsiveness and glide for their weight and conditions. The 198 cm² suits experienced riders who want a looser, more committed feel and are comfortable running smaller front wings; the 227 is the sweet spot for most riders in most conditions — fast without being demanding; the 271 is the choice for anyone still learning, for heavier riders on bigger front wings, and for light-wind sessions on the Wirral where staying on foil is the priority. Not sure? Start on the 227.

Key Features

  • Three sizes: 198, 227, 271 cm² — tune from responsive and surfy (198) to maximum stability (271)
  • Oval mounting holes — ±0.5° trim by sliding stab forward (more lift) or backward (flatter, faster); no shims, no tools
  • Matched to the FlightAttendant system — designed alongside the FA front wing range for balanced pitch
  • Full carbon construction — stiff, light, durable
  • Supplied with mounting screws

Real-World Feel

The 198 makes the FlightAttendant feel direct and agile — quick into turns, responsive to weight shifts, with a committed flight character that rewards active riding. The 227 softens that to a predictable, forgiving feel that works across conditions without pushing back. The 271 makes everything calmer: extra lift at low speed, a more patient recovery from breaches, and the stability to think about riding technique rather than fighting the foil. The trim adjustment in the oval holes is subtle but worth exploring once you have a baseline — a few millimetres forward or back visibly changes how the foil behaves at cruise height.

Setup and Fit

Bolt to any Reedin fuselage via the standard rear connection. To adjust trim, loosen screws slightly, slide the stab forward or backward, then retighten. Start centred for your first sessions. Message us if you'd like a recommendation based on your front wing size, weight and local conditions before ordering.

Materials

  • Construction: Full carbon composite

Pairs Well With

Why We Stock It

The stabilizer is the most overlooked upgrade in a foil setup. Riders swap front wings before they try a different stab — but pitch stability is what the foil actually feels like underfoot, and the stab controls pitch. We stock all three FA Stabilizer sizes because the right choice genuinely changes how the foil rides, and the wrong one can make an otherwise good setup feel like hard work. Message us before ordering — we'll point you to the right size for your weight, your front wing and your local spot.
